Introducing our little apartment at Cala Torret, Menorca

As some of our friends have shown interest in discovering our little get-away in Menorca, here are some pictures we would like to share to give you an idea of the place.

The apartment has a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom with bath. It is about 50 square meters in total but thanks to the view on the sea, you do have a feeling of space. We have recently invested in a new cooker and oven and a big wardrobe in the master bedroom.

Cala Torret is the barrio where our place is situated. It's about a 15-minute drive from Mahon, the capital city and airport.

We are a five-minute walk from the nearest beach. We love it there. It has a really nice beach bar, where you can have lunch or a nice refreshing drink.

In our barrio, there is a bakery and small supermarket and some restaurants. Our favorite restaurant is La Rosa, a cheese and wine (what else!) bar just around the corner. But we also like Pedros, a more touristy but child-friendly restaurant. This is if you want to stay local for food. There are plenty of good-quality restaurants around the island and in the next blog posts, we will share some of our favourites.

We have decided to start renting out our little place at the sea to our friends. To get an idea on pricing, you can check the Redorka website at http://www.redorka.com/ In the search field, you enter "2050". Our place is called "Felicidades".
